Dalen L. Spratt
Dalen L. Spratt has been a trendsetter and on target to succeed since childhood. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, he is the epitome of a true southern gentleman, thanks to his mother and 8 aunts who raised him. Spratt has been featured on both BET’s Hell Date and VH1’s I Want to Work for Diddy Season 2, where he radiantly stood apart from his competition. His unique, polished fashion sense attracted attention from the ladies who have dubbed him the “Black Zack Morris.”
Graduating Magna Cum Laude from Clark Atlanta University with both a B.A. and M.B.A in Marketing by the age of 23, Spratt has proven that he is truly a success-driven individual. In the winter of 2007, Spratt journeyed to Beijing, China, to study abroad at Capitol Normal University, where he became engulfed in international business and international marketing.
Spratt’s extensive marketing background has granted him a plethora of opportunities that includes a competitive internship at Yahoo!™ in their entertainment marketing department. At Yahoo!, Spratt created an extensive marketing proposal to effectively cross promote all entertainment properties.
Embarking on his entrepreneurial path, Spratt had the idea to create a social utility that finished where MySpace and Facebook started. Spratt’s mission was to create more than a social network, but a social utility that appealed to the entire collegiate market – an internet resource that would bridge the gap between corporate America and college students. It would serve as a liaison between the two by directly connecting the consumer to products through effective advertising and discounts from partner companies.
Spratts’ next business venture was an online food delivery service that allowed restaurants in the Best Southwest region of Dallas, TX, to outsource their meal deliveries. As a result of his efforts, Spratt was featured on the front page of 3 local newspapers.
Mr. Spratt spent two seasons working with The Mo’Nique Show on BET as a wardrobe stylist. In his spare time, he wrote and self published his first book, “A Mother’s Guide to Manhood”, dedicated solely to single mothers raising sons. As a result, Spratt and his mother were invited onto The Mo’Nique Show as featured guests.
Spratt has spent the last 10 years perfecting and growing his clothing brand, Loren Spratt. Loren Spratt is a classic American brand that provides subtle nuances for a tailored gentleman. With clients such as BET Networks, STARZ, and musician Lecrae, the Loren Spratt brand has been featured in numerous television marketing campaigns, magazine publications (Essence, D Weddings, Black Enterprise, etc.), and award ceremonies (Grammys, NAACP Image Awards, etc.) These prominent features have lead to the brand and its clients to receive such accolades as “Grammys Best Dressed” and “2015 Best Dressed Groomsmen”.
Spratts’ newest project is the record breaking television series “Ghost Brothers”, featured on Travel Channel. As a budding enthusiast of paranormal investigation, Spratt takes a passionate hobby to the next level in some of the country’s most haunted locations.
Mr. Spratt believes that entrepreneurs are not made, but born. He appreciates other cultures and draws inspiration from the different people and places he encounters. While studying abroad in Beijing and Shanghai, Spratt was able to effectively refine his taste and tailor his image into an “eclectic brand”. Truly understanding the inspiration behind this way of living, Mr. Spratt hopes to enlighten the public at large, while intimately inspiring a fashionable movement. The Loren Spratt brand has been customized and polished into an elegant lifestyle.
